A man carrying a poster of late Turkish singer Bergen as a banner. Bergen was murdered at the age of 30 by her ex-husband. Before the divorce, the ex-husband blinded Bergen's right eye by throwing nitric acid to her face in order to stop her performing on stage.

Unfortunately the religious and/or conservatist people do not normally participate in demonstrations against the patriarchal establishment. These three women prepared their banners and participated the demonstration alongside their feminist comrades. From left to right the banners read "Are you Allah? We Revolt against the Male(hood) that doesn't Know their Place", "They Shall not Fear and They Shall not be Sad (Quran 2:277)" and "Don't Worry Mom, I Prayed before I Came".
